On February 15th at the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NFL player Ray Rice had gotten into a physical confrontation with his then fiancee Janay Palmer. Video surfaced of Rice dragging his limp and lifeless fiancees body out of an elevator, while a security guard for the hotel approached to ask questions. This incident made headline news and the NFL gave Rice a measly two game suspension. What also helped his case was that he went on to marry his fiancee who he had physically assaulted, and she stood by him through out the whole ordeal. Now TMZ has obtained the full video of Rice and Palmer, and it shows the full extent of how the assault went down.
Rice is seen in the video first spitting at Palmer, which she then gives him a back-hand slap on his face as they walk towards the elevator. Once inside — Rice is then filmed striking Palmer, and when she lunges at him — he knocks her out — her face hitting the elevator railing.
Hours after the video was released, the NFL had announced that Ray Rice was no longer allowed to play in the NFL. Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh commented saying “It’s something we saw for the first time today … all of us … and it changed things. Of course it made things a little bit different.”
The couple have yet to make a comment about the leaking of the video.
