This week for Canada has without a doubt been a chaotic and testing one. With the latest attack on Parliment Hill in Ottawa on Canadian Soldiers, and the recent hate crimes against muslims, we are witnessing things that never really happened here in the north. However, despite the tragic loss we have suffered by losing Sgt. Nathan Cirillo, and having to deal with ignorant people lashing out against the peaceful muslim community in Cold Lake, Alberta, we have seen how true Canadians deal with loss, tragedy, and ignorance. This week I’m featuring two photos, of Canadians in action and doing what they do best—being amazing.
Dozens of community members in Cold Lake, Alta. came together on Friday afternoon to clean up a local mosque after it was vandalized.
